I would love to say that my place looks like this... with time. Yeah right! A girl can dream right? New apartment coming along quite nicely! I'm all settled in... just trying to find the right home for everything.

I'm making it... this is probably one of the busiest weeks I've ever had. 2 overnights down, 1 to go, grandmother tomorrow... after that regular work days with a rehearsal dinner and lingerie party Thursday, and then wedding festivities Friday. Oh wait, the movers will be here early Saturday morning. Am I completely packed... nope. Working on it. I don't sleep well during the day so I haven't been getting much sleep at all. I also am not a night owl... so how do I work until 4:30 am??? Let's see, caffeine consumption last night... 3 Mt Dews, 4 glasses of tea, and 2 cupcakes. :) I usually am pretty cautious when it comes to putting unhealthy things in my body... and that all goes out the window during floorset week at work. Hence the caffeine and sugar overload. Now, if you'll excuse me... I must swing by the grocery on my way back in for more junk food. I'm thinking more Mt Dew... I might even hit up the Red Bull. I can't stand the taste of it but I'm in desperate need of some wings. Yes, scratch the Mt Dew... Red Bull and sour gummy worms. Done.
Be back soon... maybe in the midst of a sugar high.

Oh... lots going on very soon. I'm packing up my place to move into my cute new apartment next week. Well, next weekend. Let me go ahead and map out my next week for you...
Fri - work and pack
Sat - pack... and I'm sure I'll squeeze in some time for Cody
Sun - work overnight
Mon - work overnight
Tues - work overnight
{I'm usually a tad bit out of commission after an overnight - days are worthless}
Wed - My Grandmother is coming to town!!!! Can't wait!
Thurs - work, rehearsal dinner (my bff from nyc is getting married)
Fri - work, wedding
Sat - movers here 9 am... eek!
All the while my boss will be in town... thankfully she's pretty cool. Still adds a little stress but it helps when she stomps in the store wearing a prom dress with converse. Not kidding! Love her!

happy friday...
I smell the weekend...
Still need to do a recap of our 4th of July weekend... it was perfect. This picture was last Saturday afternoon. Have I ever told you what I think is the perfect Saturday? Well, it begins with sleeping in... then there's a little shopping, a stop at the bakery for a cupcake {yum}, an afternoon movie {Knight and Day}, dinner at one of our favorite places {Hugo's}, a quick stop by the liquor store, and then home with enough time to relax with a glass of wine on the couch.
That is my favorite way to spend Saturdays... and that's exactly what we did.
