cute little problem...

Cute little pics... well there's a cute little reason I'm posting these pics.  I went to the dentist today and I have a cavity!!!  I haven't had a cavity in 15 yrs... no joke.  My dentist delivered the news... then asked if sweets or sodas are apart of my diet.  Are you kidding???  I'm a female... sweets make me so happy I can hardly explain it.  Comparable to a kid in a candy store... just ask Cody.  I don't eat sweets everyday but I love them... and I don't drink much soda... maybe 3 a week... and I brush twice a day... ahhh!!!!  So, here's what we're going to do... I'm going to floss more. :)

... I did a little shopping.

I've been eyeing this dress for a while now.  I tried it on as soon as it came in because it looked so easy and versatile.  Love easy and versatile.  I didn't get it initially but today I finally cracked... plus it will be perfect with my boots that I hardly go a day without wearing.

... this little mini.  Yes, it's leather.  I'm so excited about pairing it with my white billowy oxford... my grey American Apparel... one of my pretty silk tops... my olive cargo jacket... loads of necklaces... and then my boots of course!

I originally didn't think I'd jump on the leather trend... but I did and I'm so glad.  Fits like a glove and looks super femme!

isolation...

Although I have been stupid busy lately... Cody and I did make time for a little camping/canoeing trip this weekend.  It was much needed!  There's something about going out to the river, turning my phone off, and enjoying the beautiful surroundings with him.  There's also something about finding the BIGGEST MARSHMALLOWS IN THE WORLD to make s'mores.  They were huge!!!  So big I couldn't even make my s'more... I just ate the toasted marshmallow.  YUM!

Sometimes... I get so busy and I don't make time to blog.  I'm sorry!  I have so much to talk about.

First of all... Tucker for Target.  I thought it was great!  Very sweet and sophisticated.  

Then... NYFW.  Any free time I've had lately has been spent on style.com... duh.

Also, I haven't even touched on Rachael Zoe this season.  Of course, I'm obsessed as usual and it seems like the season just flew by!  

I'm also obsessed with the long skirt.  Yes, I love it.  This beauty came through this past week and I snatched it up immediately.  It's a stunner!

Also, if you know me you know I love a good head dress... I can't keep them out of my hair these days!

I ran into a dear friend the other day that mentioned I should do more outfit posts.  I have the set-up and I have the outfits... it's just a matter of having the time.  I'm not the most photogenic around 6 am and when it comes to taking a pic after work... well, you know.  So, with time.  I promise... I'm working on it.  Until then, please enjoy my game day outfit... Cody snapped this while tailgating a few weeks ago.

So I've been busy... really really busy.  Have no fear, I did take a minute to pre-order Come Around Sundown by Kings of Leon and got the new single, Radioactive.  I highly recommend it!  With this little tune in the background the mass chaos seems to flow a bit more smoothly.  ;)

If you know me well... you know I love Kings of Leon. Go on... you can listen. New album 10.19... they're playing in Dallas 9.23. Working my way on getting off work for that show. Saw them a couple years ago and I'm dying to see them again and for Cody to experience it. Can't wait... GOT TO GO!

Ha!  Poor little guy!  No really, it's time for a haircut... hence the creepy cat pic!  I absolutely hate getting my hair done.  I know... odd.  Why???  I have no idea.   Maybe because I've been growing my hair out since I was like 11 and it seriously doesn't grow too far past my shoulders in the past 15 years.  I've finally realized that will not be happening... I have thin hair.  So shoulder length and pulled up it is.  Same old, same old.  Now, I just need to make the appointment.  Although, I would have to have a little extra time for this appointment... and time is of the essence these days.  I'll let you know when it eventually happens.  Don't expect much change!
