Hello hello... it's been a while since we've had a spoon full.  Let's indulge...

1. NYE in a cabin with my fave = pure bliss

2.  recently just added 3 full-on sequin pieces to my wardrobe... skirt, blazer, cardi

3.  there's hardly a day I don't have these on

4.  65 degrees today... I'll take it!

5.  we got a keurig... thank you santa 

6.  he left this under the tree... with my name on it {minus charms}

7.  Christmas this year was very, very special... I am truly blessed

8.  the holiday season {retail side} is almost over... breath of fresh air

9.  I might have a minor obsession with all shades of neutral... broad but so true

10.  you know he cares when you're greeted with a shot of airborne instead of a glass of wine

Hello all!  Getting geared up for the upcoming weekend... sure you are!  

What are you wearing?  What am I wearing?  Well here you go...

In the event I were attending a glamorous soiree I'd throw on a little something like this...

all of my current addictions combined into one ensemble.  Sequins, fur, velvet, leather... need I go on?  Yes, color... no other than a beautiful array of champagne.  Not only my beverage of choice for the evening but also a beautiful hue.

You love right?  Me too.  Tiny problem... this lady isn't attending anything remotely fancy.  I and my one and only will be nestled all snug in our cabin, deep in the darkest of woods, when the clock strikes 2011.  I couldn't be more thrilled!

So, when planning my NYE attire I must think more like this...

 yet again, some of my favorites... shearling poncho, comfy tights, cozy uggs, and furry muffs.

 Comfort and warmth to ring in the new year... I'll take it!

My take on western...  

Let's rephrase... my take on pairing a chambray top, tweed skirt with perfect wispy feathers, leather gloves, stunner leopard booties, gold cuff, crystal cluster post earrings, and quite possibly an adorable felt hat to complete the look.  It leaves me with a more western feel than normal... just a haberdashery of all things a tad more rustic than my normal pairings.

Boy do I have something sweet for you all today!  

You know those friends you have... the one's that just get you???  The one's who, when speaking of Marchesa S/S 2011 line, almost finish your sentence because she loves it just as much as you do...???  Or the one's who you bump into shopping and your on the hunt for the same trend so you just do it together... yep, that friend!  She's on my level... she speaks my language... I love it.  

Meet Miss Hope Cavell... she exudes love, beauty, and exquisite style in every step she takes on this planet.  She recently did the sweetest post on after one's fancy and I couldn't help but brag on her back.  I'm completely amazed at her knowledge and sense of style at just 18... see it here on HAUTE SAUCE.  {adorable right}  I'd be honored to bring her along on a styling session.  Hope you are beautiful and beyond amazing!  I can't wait to see what the future holds for you!  Big Hug!!!

In the small city of Fayetteville, Arkansas, there is a growing number of fashionable people. One of them being Tess Labeth. Apparel Studies grad from the University of Arkansas, a former Masonista like myself and starter of one of the very first fashion blogs in Northwest Arkansas, After One's Fancy, Tess now does visuals for Forever21 in Rogers along with styling personal clients. She has a positive ambiance that is contagious and every time I leave having a conversation with her, I am more inspired than when we started.

After One's Fancy is a colorful blog that reflects Tess's personality all the way. She doesn't like anything too fussy but definitely isn't afraid to add a few sequins here and there. She often blogs about her new favorite finds such as a pair of boots or a great statement piece. Tess is a large part of the reason I started my blog in the first place and with that I thank her enormously!

Time for a change of pace if you will... I couldn't honestly post the above without sharing what's really on my mind.  

A friend of mine lost all of her belongings in a house fire this past weekend.  {Jordan Bartholomew of V.S. Mobley} As devastating as it was, she and her family made it out alive... praise Him.  Unfortunately their belongings were engulfed in flames within minutes.  I know material matter is not everything in one's life... but it does make it better.  My bf and I will be cleaning out our closets to lend a hand to the Bartholomew family and I want to extend the invitation to you as well.  See below for information and please feel free to contact me at afteronefancy@gmail.com for any questions.

Miss Roe Bot-She is 12-18 months and shoe size is 4

Jordan- she says she is good on pants. Shoe size 8 1/2 and shirt sizes range from Medium-Large.

Thank you all for your generosity and I know she and her loved ones appreciate it as well.  Praise God they still have each other!
